Kalvin & Hobbes
This digital piece is my rendition of Calvin and Hobbes, emphasizing the unruly, imaginative nature of Calvin and childhood itself. I wanted to capture the wild curiosity, emotional honesty, and chaotic energy that often defines being a kid.
Inspired by the perspective of Bill Watterson, who often spoke about childhood as a time of boundless imagination and questioning authority, this piece leans into Calvin’s mischievous spirit. His attitude reflects the freedom, rebellion, and creativity that Watterson believed made childhood so meaningful.
